externship Xs

hello fellow citizens! (of the human race :] )

so i get to do an externship (it's like an internship, but the offices aren't connected to the school, and you have to find them all by your little lonesome.)

anyway...

i have to try to find a dentist that is open long enough after school (i get off at 2:10), is a general practitioner, is hopefully somewhat close, and doesn't have, like 20 externs/interns already!! grr....

what a pain in the arse....er...butt. :}

and, carma says, i should try to stay in the granite school district, and if i do end up with a dr. that is specialized, i can only do 1/2 of my 90 hours there! >:(

i'm not liking this already!

so i called about 12 different offices (all the ones in west valley and a few that weren't) and:

*one i had to leave a message
*one # is no longer available/disconnected
*one is associated with a school, so they won't take any
*some have anywhere between 3 and 7 externs/interns already
*some have an office that is too small (one dr. and two assistants)
*and the rest just aren't taking any right now...

ARRGGGHHH!!!!

carma (my teach) tells us to just go there...it's harder for them to say "no" if you are there. well, frankly i don't feel like using all my gas for nothing! and i don't want to have to drive, like, 1/2 hour to get there if I'M DON'T GET PAID! (and i only get to work there for about 2 hours...most offices are only open until 5 or 6).
