BoReD

I'm bored.

I don't have to be at my internship site (there were no patients today), so I'm stuck home. I get to surf today... on the net! hahaha!

My dad got back from the hospital yesterday. He's feeling lots better....looks and acts a lot better, too. That's always good. (Except he's a little sore from the flu shots...)

Uhm....what to talk about now?? I don't know....

Well, I guess that's it for now. If I come up with more later, you'll hear from me. :)

Have a splendidididid day. :)

just wait until you get to be a mom and have to stay home all day w/all the little ones. your mom and aunts and uncles--all six of them--would get into a screaming, schuffling match right as i was trying to fix dinner. you could open a drive in out your kitchen window like my kids--mostly becky--did one summer. she made up this menu and gave to all the neighbor kids and they would come around to the back kitchen window and order and she would make it. i don't remember who all was in on it or if she charged. then most summers, we would have summer school and one summer we read the old man and the sea. we learned how to order in a cafe and how to figure how much you owed since one of your mom's sisters went w/someone to a cafe and ordered everything on the menu and didn't have enough money to pay for it. you could read a thousand splendid suns or the kiterunner or i can give you a list of lots of wonderful books. i have been making flannel receiving blankets for the humanitarian==i have been doing that. i made 2 today. you could start a daughters of the utah pioneers camp for young daughters. we need young daughters. do you want to go to the dup museum in slc on a sunday afternoon in august to be a docent--i think you went once before w/me and your mom. glad your dad is better. what kind of flu shots did he get?

maybe they will give you a big, fancy church job--like activities director. you could surprise your mom and have your brothers and sister help you scrub all of the walls and floors and windows and everything in your house. we are going to wash the windows and weed the garden if it ever stops raining. mother nature needs to save some rain for july and august and the last part of june.
a train to potevka is also a very good book as are all of sue grafton's, tony hillerman's and the v.i. warshawski books and dick francis and i could go on forever because i have read so many books--thousands i'm sure and i have never had a late book library fine in all my 70+ years. i must brag about something--so there i go. you can brag about swimming and skating, but i don't do those things well, but i do read and return books on time. we are supposed to go help weed the neighborhood garden on saturday--we'll see if it rains or not. see you sunday at the big FHE, father's day bash.
