Day-Maker

OMGoodness!! I feel WAY better than I did before work. How often is it that work will make you feel better when everything else isn't working?! Well... here's what happened:

~I think I'm supposed to start at 6:30 (not 6) LATE! yikes...
~I'm at work and it sucks. Phong left. I'm alone.. all alone behind the counter.
~Next thing I know there are a bunch of ppl there with European accents...
~You'll never guess WHERE they're from! (there had to be like 20 of them!!)
~SCOTLAND!!! That totally made my day! I wish I could've sat there and listened to them talk. I love the accents. ^_^
~They're from Northern Scotland... one girl told me the city, but silly me. I forgot.

I ended up with a big smile for the rest of the night. How cheesy. I'm not sure why that's what made my day, buy it did. At least something did! ^_^

And then all these really cute guys were showing up... Some with the accents. Some with the normal old American accent. Or they were Polynesian.

Well... I'm pretty tired. Plus my head hurts. At least my tummy is full and I don't have to go like I did when I was at work.

so-low

today sucks. it's gross and dusty outside. it coats your throat. i don't feel good. it goes along with the rest of the week.

i thought working out would help. it didn't. i've got a big paper cut on my thumb. i think the only good things to happen today were that i got my prelabs done in time for class. and i actually knew one thing he quizzed us on. i hate that class. i'm sick of everything. i want it over with. sometimes i want to give up. why do i feel so low these days? i'm soo sick of it.

another good thing... i got to talk to justin for a bit today. :)

this is like my journal... but ppl can read it. *sigh*

i hope april goes better.

So now that I'm just about done, I'm hunting for the # so I can call and ask them a few things.... Joy.... *rme*

After that I'm picking up amber from school. Mailing back to Brianna. Then hanging out with Kacee! Fun times, fun times. I missed the Festival of Colors and I was a tad bummed out, but all well. I've got the Scottish Festival to look forward to! I'm pretty sure I'm dragging my lovely "Swedish" friend along again! We have fun. Brianna's grandpa is Swedish and sounds very cute! ^_^

Anyway, I took her the last 2 years and we had a blast! We got typhoon-ed last year. She told me in her last letter that she'd love to go and doesn't have anything planned that day. (June 12th!!!!)

I wonder if it's gonna rain that much again this year. Anyway in her letter she also told me she was listening to the Wicked Tinkers at that very moment while she was writing to me!! How awesome is that?!?!

Anywho... I'm gonna go call Mom, cuz iono where the IRS # is... I'm sure she'll know where to look. ;)

People Suck

I hate people.

I hate stupid people. I hate inconsiderate people. I hate people that can't drive. I hate people that are ridiculously picky and/or can't make up their friggin mind. I hate people that piss me off. I hate people that jack your sh*t. I hate people that are never satisfied. I hate people that fling the racist card and try to shove it down your throat. I hate people that are totally hypocritical. I hate people that are self-righteous.

People Suck.

I know I'm not perfect. I'm not saying that I want everybody else to be or to think that I am perfect. There are people I love dearly that are picky, or piss me off. BUT they know better than to be too annoying or try to piss me off when I'm already in a bad friggin mood.

I'm already having a bad day and this stupid kid at work tells me I'm racist because I won't give him sh*t for free. "Oh, It's cuz I'm black!" WHY IS THE WHITE PERSON ALWAYS THE RACIST PERSON?!

You know, They forget that Scots and Irish and Polish and Danish and all those people were treated badly too. Most indentured servants were WHITE people who were treated very badly by their masters. Irish were treated badly by the English. Also take a look at the way the Egyptians treated the Israelites! Slavery!

I swear there are more racist BROWN people than there are WHITE racist people. >:[

Why is it ok to go around proclaiming Polynesian Pride, or Black Pride, or Indian Pride or whatever the h3ll else you want to claim. BUT the minute you say White Pride, you are RACIST and usually associated with the KKK. I'm NOT RACIST!

People need to get over themselves. They shouldn't toss out the racist card just because something isn't the way THEY want it. So friggin what?! You can't expect everything to be handed to you! >:[

taxes & homework

blargh.... i'm bored.

so I need to know if what i spent from my pell grant for my computer would be taxable. but the people for financial aid that would know weren't there when i called. i get to call back tomorrow.

i think taxes might be half-way finished?

and then i've got my chemistry homework i really don't feel like doing but really should do.

and i've got anatomy i have to study for... i have to study for that one a lot. it's hard. :(

i'm thinking i might see if justin can't come down here on saturday, maybe i'll go see him... but we will see. :) i wanna see him.

i got my phone bill mailed off and i've written back to brianna.

now i should go find something else to eat and finish my stupid homework.... woot! *rme* :'(

yay! my blah week! exciting!

this is the summary of my break so far:

yesterday:
woke up. did my hair. did the dishes. made rice crispy treats. went on a walk with kacee. got back home and made orange julius. went to the library with amber. talked to justin (throughout the day). played some FB games.

i think that was about it yesterday. i got a mermaid book that has a bunch of old stories about mermaids. and some "royal diaries" about this austria-hungary chick and one about anastasia. :)

today:
woke up very late. ate cold pizza from last night. messed around on the internet. and that's it so far...

i think i'm going to see if i can stay the night at a friend's place this week.... we'll see if i do it. i still have to hunt down my chem homework and do that. i think i've got about a month and a half to do it and turn it all in (all 11 chapters worth of homework... but i really only need to do 10 to get an A. 11 is extra credit or something...)

Chicken Little ^_^

I got to see Justin yesterday after I got off work! Yay! First time actually seeing him, although we've talked a lot thru email/texting/talking over the phone.
(His friends call him Chicken Little.)

I like him. Him, my dad, and Cameron ended up talking about hunting/guns/cars. I'd say stuff every once in a while.

He seems to be sweet and nice and everything. :)

He lives in Heber (well, Timber Lakes but that's not too far from Heber). He was going to move to California yesterday (for work). He got all the way down to St. George when they called and told him to go back to SLC. I guess the shipment wasn't there yet and might not be there for another month. So he's going to go when they tell him to go. It might be a week or it might be a month. Idk.

When he does go, he'll be there for a month or so. Then he'll come back. He says he might live in Taylorsville when he does come back. He'd live a lot closer. That would be pretty cool! :)


So this next week is my spring break. So all I've really got for the next week is work. . . and lots of homework I really need to catch up on. (and studying)

kettle bells

got my phone fixed! pictures are fun. so much fun.

((kettle bells are these russian things. they're metal balls with handles on the top. they're really heavy!))

so i'm verry sore and i think "kettle bells" are mean. we didn't even use REAL ones!! my legs are dying! it hurts to walk and to try to balance. it just hurts to stand let alone walk up and down hills or stairs. or walk period. or get in and out of chairs.

or to lean to one side. (my obliques hurt too)

or to stretch my arms out... my pecs hurt.

i think my lats hurt. my gastrocnemius (calf) muscles hurt. i think my soleus might. but i can't tell.

SSOOooo. . .basically everything hurts. :'(

i thought that maybe walking around might help a little.
maybe it just made it hurt more. but at least i'm not letting them just sit there. maybe it was the warm shower. she DID say that you shouldn't take a hot one for 24 hours after. . . but i didn't want to take a cold one! :( or maybe it's day-after pains and they were just meant to be.

either way. i don't think i'm EVER doing REAL kettle bells. they weigh a lot more. i was only using 8 lb hand weights. i had to switch to 5 lb weights. it's HARD!!! it's a total work out. and it's one of those sweat exercises. it's not gonna make you look pretty (or feel pretty for the next few days).

you also look kinda like an idiot when you're doing them. my instructor said that we looked like we were all throwing little fits while we were doing the ones on the floor. . . (youtube moment she said)

it's fun to try at least once. but i'm soooo dead!

ok.. so it's actually my cell phone. but in the song she's talking about her cell phone. so i think it's valid (^-^)



so yesterday i spent most of the day with becky and amber! it was fun!!

we got some BK cuz hollywood connection wasn't quite open yet (we still had about 5 minutes or so before we could actually do anything).

we finished our food and then went skating. becky was hoping it would be like riding a bike... you could hop back on and be fine! not exactly. she got on the rink and took a few steps and just about did the splits! i had to rescue her. about the time she was used to it her footsies started to hurt. so she had to stop.

amber kept falling. so i made her go practice on the carpet. (it's softer than the hard rink, but not much) she didn't really wanna come back on the rink. she was getting to the point where she didn't have to hold on to anything and wasn't falling over as much. so we had her try the rink again. that didn't last too long. so we decided that we were done skating. we went and rode the rollercoaster and the bumper cars.

after that we went and had ice cream at the little shop by the arcade. YUM! talk about sweet. :)

amber decided she was THIRSTY! we KNOW because she kept saying it. eventually we started to tease her a bit... "are you SURE you're thirsty?" "did you know she's THIRSTY?!" lol....

so we went and got some drinks at 7eleven before going to see ray and dana. (byron was asleep)

amber stayed and played the wii with dana while we (me and bexie) went to the mall to see if we couldn't find a cricket place. . . . . we couldn't. so we went back and got amber and dana.

we went to the cricket out here. i got a myshot II. it's cute. it's got some dark red on the front (my fav color!!).

so it's got a camera and it SHOULD do the whole send-receive picture messages. NO! so i tried to see if it said in the manual why it wasn't working. nope. nothing.

i called tech support today. the first time it was some lady and i had to go and dial some number so they would reprogram the phone. then i had to leave it alone for 5 minutes. then try to send some pictures. IT DIDN'T WORK!

i called again about an hour later (after trying to send a dozen more pictures). i got a guy this time. he made me manually reprogram the thing. i had to leave it along for 30 minutes. IT'S STILL NOT WORKING!!! maybe it's cuz people were texing me while i was supposed to leave the phone alone. i asked the guy if i should turn it off or leave it on. he said just leave it. so i did. i didn't open it to even READ the messages. i just left it alone. i try after abotu 40 minutes of not touching the phone. did it work? NO!!!!

so let me tell you what the phone does. i tell it i'm sending a picture. i pick the person i'm sending it to, the picture, and whatever text i want to put with the picture. i press send. it starts sending. it gets almost there. and then stops at the last second and says "invalid address"

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!

so i'm going to go see them tomorrow and IN PERSON make them FIX the stupid thing. i hope i don't have to have the internet to make it work. i JUST took it off my account a few months ago!

plux the whole reason i got the new phone is for the PICTURES! if i can't get the stupid pictures to work, then what's the point in having the new phone!? grrr...

so they better be able to fix it WITHOUT me having to pay a ton for it (pay for them to fix it, pay for them to put the internet BACK on my account, pay for whatever else they decide to do...you get the idea)

so there you go. i hope they can FIX it tomorrow! or they are going to have one upset redhead on their hands..... >:[

midterms

you know... ariel might make a good batman villain.

what do you think? she could slap people with her tail. she could splash them. you know, i've been told redheads have an anger issue... :P
and something about liking attention. among other things :)
so maybe someone really pissed her off? she could go all crazy on them for a bit! that would be cool.


i was craving sugar cookies today... for some reason i could kinda smell them. it smelled soo nummy! so i just had to go get one. i went and mailed some snail-mail back to her today and got me a cookie on the way home. (i also convinced the boys to tag along, so i got them a treat too. then i saw that they actually had white cherry icees again. so i had to get one for my mom. i got a cookie for mine daddy, and decided i wouldn't leave amber out and got her a dog-nut) :)

exciting day! funny part was i got in a fight with a brazilian guy today. one i met yesterday at school. he decided he really liked me. i think a little too much. so basically i got mad and he got mad and then we argued and he told me i needed to grow up. HA! it was kinda sad... stupid boys. by the end i was kinda trying not to laugh cuz he was being just soo stupid. *sigh* entertainment?


i had a midterm yesterday in my bio lab. and one today in communications. they were so *fun* m-hmmm.... they dead people weren't so horrible (i think i'm getting used to it) but they sure didn't smell so good after the first 5 minutes of standing by them :\ there were some that i totally couldn't remember the name of the muscle or bone structure or whatever. so i kinda just made it up. i DID use things like "radialis" if it was in that area, so ya gotta give me SOME credit... right?


i've decided that i really like the ellipses... i use them a lot when i text. i'm really trying to stop. but they're so much fun! (...) (...) XD haha


i had my bio lec mid term last week. that was *fun* not so much... but it could've been worse, i guess. :)


i think i'm going to go to bed here in a bit! have a lovely night and have some smashing dreams :)
